Great Real World Example of Integration with Switchvox SMB

My friend Shawn Ross has a great writeup on his blog about creating a mashup between Switchvox with AccessACS, a program his church is using for ChMS/Church Database integration. It’s a custom panel that pops up member data when they call into the church and Shawn has written up and provided code and directions on getting this working. It’s an awesome example of how Switchvox SMB can be integrated with whatever apps your business uses.

The plugin can be used for click-to-call using Microsoft Outlook (XP or Vista), and the XP or Vista phone dialer which is used by XP’s Outlook Express and Vista’s Windows Contacts. It incorporates Switchvox Smart Tags, which will find and highlight … Continued

Moving to the new hotness

I’ve been getting a lot of great feedback about the Switchvox SMB 3.5 release and the new AA60 appliance in this first week they were available. And I just got a question:

“Is it possible to upgrade from the tower system that the AA60 replaced without losing anything or spending a lot of time and hassle.”

  1. Take a backup of the original server. (Machine Admin –> Backups)
  2. If you have any Digium cards
