While AstriCon was started as the Conference and Expo for Asterisk – the most established and popular Open Source Communications platform in the World – it has, over more recent years, expanded in scope to embrace Open Source Communications in general and, as I have mentioned in previous posts, we are delighted to have members of the FreeSWITCH team coming to AstriCon, and folk from the Kamailio, Homer and OpenSIPS projects too!
I recently joined Ken Rice of the FreeSWITCH team on their ClueCon Weekly show to talk about AstriCon.
Anthony Minessale and Brian West (from FreeSWITCH) will be speaking on Wednesday the 4th of October at 3:00pm eastern time and Anthony also will be a guest on a panel about the challenges of running an open-source project at 1:30pm eastern time on October 5th.
There are many firsts this year at AstriCon this year, one of them is that the ClueCon Weekly show will actually be coming live from AstriCon this year: https://www.facebook.com/events/1910886342493812
The Open Source Showcase on the Expo floor of AstriCon is set to feature 10 (yes, TEN) Open Source Projects this year – more than ever before.
Time is running out to get your AstriCon pass, if you’ve not already done so, here: www.astricon.net
See you in Orlando!
