Today, we are continuing that commitment with the announcement of three major updates to our award-winning Switchvox on-premise UC solution.

Next-Generation Switchvox Appliances

We are proud to announce the release of the next-generation Switchvox appliances, the E510, E520, E530, and the E540. The all-new E-Series line features the four most powerful and affordable Switchvox appliances to date. The new models are equipped with quad-core processors and solid state drives, with the E540 featuring a mirrored RAID array of solid state drives and dual powers supplies for added redundancy.

The new Switchvox E-Series line provides a better VoIP phone system option for small businesses with the introduction of the E510. This high performance appliance can support up to 150 phones and 50 concurrent calls for the competitively low price of US$695. The E520, E530, and E540 models, designed for larger businesses needing to support up to 600 phones, are powered by Dell EMC™ hardware and backed by added levels of technical support.

The E530 and E540 have been embedded with the integrated Dell Remote Access Controller 8 (iDRAC8) Enterprise with Lifecycle Controller to ease system administration. Dell EMC’s iDRAC8 technology enables more efficient server management and minimizes the need for administrators to physically visit the server. Additionally, the E520, E530, and E540 are backed by Next Business Day Service, a guarantee that warranty parts will be dispatched to arrive on-site the next business day and, if necessary, a technician will be dispatched.

That’s why we are rolling out a more streamlined pricing structure for Switchvox, designed to reduce the technical expertise needed for Digium partners to quote new systems and to ease the buying experience for customers. We know that many telecom vendors require partners to navigate hundreds, if not thousands, of SKUs during the quoting process, which ultimately produces a complicated quote for customers.

To stand out from the crowd, we have drastically reduced existing part numbers and simplified user licensing for Switchvox software, which continues to include all features for all users. These improvements allow partners to produce quotes for entire systems within minutes and with as few as four part numbers.

Another pricing improvement is the more affordable price of the Switchvox software. It has been reduced from $2,745 to $1,000. For businesses wanting to deploy their phone system in a virtual environment, the lower software price now provides an even more compelling solution.

To round out our lineup of improvements to the Switchvox UC offering, we have also restructured and simplified our support options to bring more value to our customers. Now, all new Switchvox customers will receive world-class 24×7 technical phone support. This improvement allows businesses to enjoy peace of mind with their business communications, without the need to worry about additional after-hours technical support charges during potentially critical system outages.
